Join Paula and Karen for DANCING IN THE PARK starting Wednesday July 8th.  We dance beside the Rosemont Community Center (on the grass) in Confederation Park NW.  Address:  2807 10 Street NW.

How does this work?

  1. Decide what classes you wish to take for the month of July.  Students are welcome to stay for both classes if they would like.  Each class is $10.
  2. You may register for as many classes as you like ahead of time.
  3. Email Paula at with what classes you would like to sign up for.
  4. Email money transfer the funds for the classes to Paula at
    $10 per class includes GST.
  5. RAINY WEATHER:  If we are rained out, the exact same classes will be offered but on-line via Zoom.
  7. Due to Covid, you must be registered ahead of time. NO DROP INS.  We are restricting to 18 people per class.  The 2 meter protocol must be followed.

Wear comfy and cool clothing.  Bring layers!  Bring water and you may want sunscreen and bug spray.

Wednesday August 5th – 6pm to 7pmJustDance with Paula!  Join me for one hour dance fitness and get your sweat on!  No experience required.  Just jump in and follow!  We will do different styles and rhythms for the hour.  Great cardio and coordination challenge!

Wednesday August 5th – 7pm to 8pmLine Dance with Karen!  Come and learn some fun line dances to get your body and mind going!  No experience required.  This is an hour of pure fun!


Wednesday August 12th – 6pm to 7pmLatin Rhythms with Karen – Follow Karen on a journey around the world with Latin Rhythms.  You will explore Salsa, Cha Cha, and Flamenco to name a few! This is a partner free dance fitness workout.

Wednesday August 12th – 7pm to 8pmHawaiian Hula with Paula – Join Paula and learn some beautiful Hawaiian Hula moves.  We will also explore Tahitian drumbeat dance moves.  No experience required.  Bring a sarong for your hips if you like.


Wednesday August 19th – 6pm to 7pmBritney/Bieber/Backstreet Dance Party!  Join Paula for the 3 B’s dance party!  We will do songs from these 3 popstars for the hour.  Come and sweat and have a great time singing and dancing to popular hits.

Wednesday August 19th – 7pm to 8pmLine Dance with Karen – Come and learn some fun line dances and get your coordination game on!  No experience required.


Wednesday August 28th – 6pm to 7pmJustDance Light with Karen – This is a one hour follow the leader style dance fitness workout done low impact!  No experience required.  Come and dance to a whole genre of music and styles.

Wednesday August 26th – 7pm to 8pmLaBlast with Paula!  LaBlast is a dance fitness workout created by Louis VanAmstel of Dancing with the Stars.  This is a partner free dance fitness workout.  We will dance to Cha Cha, Salsa, Tango, Fox Trot and more!  This is done in dance patterns that will make it easy to follow.  No experience required.
